I Got The Birthday Blues!

Headed out for a day off. April 6th is Chakri Day. Chakri Day is celebrated to remember the founding of the ruling Chakri dynasty in 1782 by King Rama I. The current leader is Rama IX. It is celebrated "with great enthusiasm all over the country". And I thought all the fuss was for my birthday!
I will personally celebrate it by taking the day off and take advantage of all the surrounding "blue" Bang Niang and Khaolak have to offer, including a bike ride to a nearby waterfall, a dip in the Andaman Sea and a lap swim in the Ayara pool. We are hosting a sunset barbeque on the beach with all the NGO volunteers.
