A big thunderstorm hit Bang Niang beach last night and it was sad this morning when I went for my walk to see how much garbage washed up on the beach....plastic bottles, wrappers, plastic forks and flip flops...
There and then, I decided that tomorrow, on Mother's Day I would take a big garbage bag and throw away as much as I can. I know I alone will make little impact, just like the person who threw away "just that one plastic bottle or bag" thought when they did it, only for me to see it on our otherwise beautiful beachfront today.
So, I have a PROPOSITION for all of you. Tomorrow, on Mother's Day, and out of respect for Mother Nature, please get a large garbage bag and get out there and throw stuff away....and, then RECYCLE!!!!!
It only takes a little effort. If we ALL do it, it could make a huge difference. By the way...I am NOT talking about Fairgrounds garbage...that is Lagniappe!
